TES Affiliate Conferences
The affiliate industry’s twice-yearly summit.
About TES
TES has run since 2009 and now happens twice a year, drawing 1,700 to 2,000 people per edition from across the affiliate marketing industry. The Spring 2026 edition took over the Hard Rock Hotel in Marbella for four days in March: a speed-networking Meet Market, three parallel streams of talks, dinners, parties and a padel tournament.

The recap is really an ad for the next edition: it has to make skipping Marbella sting.
A recap’s real job: sell the next edition
An event brand sells the next edition with the last one. Whatever the recap makes people feel is what TES is, for months, to everyone who was not in the room. So the deliverable says recap, but the actual job reads differently: take four days in Marbella and turn them into the reason somebody books Prague in September.
Every conference film looks the same
Conference recaps are the most templated genre in video. Drone shot, bass drop, applause, sponsor banners. Everyone has seen that film, and all it proves is that an event occurred. TES describes itself as a community that meets like a reunion, and for a brand like that, generic coverage would work against the exact thing being sold.
Shoot the hallway, not just the stage
This engagement runs through my filmmaking partner in Portugal: he covers the floor across all four days, and I shape the story and the edit. We go after the moments attendees would recognise as the real event: the Meet Market’s speed-networking chaos, deals happening in corridors, the parties, the padel, people greeting each other like old friends, because by now most of them are.
The stage gets its due. But the hallway is the summit, and the film knows it.
Cut to be rewatched for a year
The recap is built to be rewatched cold: energy first, specifics second, no need to know anyone on screen. It has to carry the event through the whole year between editions, so it keeps talking long after the venue is packed up.
